Him
He joined the Army after the September 11th terrorist attacks.
After basic he spent a year stint in Korea,
arrived at Fort Lewis,
and deployed soon after to Iraq in the
US ARMY INFANTRY.
In 2004 he met me, nearly
one week
after returning from overseas.
We dated, moved in together by the end of 2005.
He got out of the Army
through the Green to Gold program.
We married August 2006.
He attended college,
graduating and commissioning in 2008
and became an
Active duty Army Infantry Officer.
We spent a brief period of time at Fort Benning, GA
before arriving back home {sweet home} in
Washington.
He deployed again soon after arrival, this time for
Operation Enduring Freedom
in Afghanistan.
Now he is HOME for a while to spend time time with his wifey!
