On another note, I've been trying to brainstorm some FRG fundraising ideas. Does anyone have any good ones? Our company has done shirts and sweatshirts, the battalion has done ribbon magnets. Any good ideas for an item or event that doesn't require a ton of people to run?
I'm heading to bed...It's almost 1 AM and I need to get some beauty sleep! ;)

Everyone here does carwashes. All. The. Time.
ReplyDeleteI can think of a million things, but I've never really paid attention to FRG fundraising (the curse of living off base) so I don't really know what kinds of things you're looking for.
ReplyDeleteIf someone is really invested time-wise, you can make things out of recycled ACU's (bracelets, door wreaths, purses, belts). You could do a recipe cookbook from each family in the command.
Um...yard sales. Auction off soldiers (not even necessarily single ones..you can auction off their skills, such as yard work, house cleaning, babysitting, carpentry...)
Pay to get out of PT...
By recipe cookbook I meant have each family/person in the command give a recipe and compile it into a cookbook (for some reason when I read that back the first time I thought it sounded weird, so I had to clarify)
