homecoming.

ReplyDeleteA lot of girls spend weeks/months picking out THE outfit but apparently most husbands don't remember what you wore a year later. We were recently at dinner with a group of friends and someone asked what I was wearing to an up coming graduation. I told them a purple dress then turned to my husband and said, "you remember the one I wore to your homecoming last year" to which I got a "ugh....not really" response. Only 1 of the other 4 guys at the table could recall what their wife had worn 6mo-a year earlier to their homecoming. So my advice is don't stress over the outfit, chances are, that's not the part he'll remember in 6 months!
ReplyDeleteI made cupcakes for my husband. He's a big golfer, so each cup cake was a different "green". I made rough grass and water hills and sand pits. I even had little flags with the number hole on it. I put up balloons and streamers... maybe i went a little to far. oh well. Also, I spent WEEKS figuring out just what i wanted my sign to say... i must say they were pretty awesome! good luck! dont forget to have a friend/photographer there to take pictures for you.
