In recent months, Jesse and I have discussed running a 3K or 5K. Now of course, Jesse could probably run a 5K like it was nothing (keep in mind he could run 5 miles in less that 40 minutes). Me on the other hand was well on the way of running a couple of miles while in Georgia, but things have sort of gotten me off track.
I heard through another blog I was reading about a "Couch to 5K" program. Now googling "Couch to 5K" you get lots of results, so if you're interested google it. Basically they help anyone who has no fitness level whatsoever, and have developed a plan to get on the track to be able to run a 5K in nine weeks.
You can visit this link to find out more information about their week to week running plans.
Just a little somethin' I am thinking about. We have some great areas to run close to the new place!
Jesse, please don't get too many crazy ideas if you read this! ;)

I should look that up! I, too, have gotten out of my running routine.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like a pretty simple routine... I know things can get overwhelming when you feel like you want to run a long distance and you don't know the route to get there. It's a pretty helpful link :)
