Pineapple Galore

Pineapple.
I could talk for days about
evvvvvvvveeeeeerrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyy
thing we did while we were in Hawaii,
but don't worry I'll probably get bored after a few of these posts.

First, I'd like to talk about pineapple
I ♥ pineapple.
And so does Jesse,
even though Dole Whip is a close second for him.

I would recommend visiting Dole if you go to Hawaii,
except I feel like Dole could have a much greater upkeep on their property as they did.
{For pete's sake, they've sold millions of pineapples over the years...
Not counting all the food and Dole Whip!}

But, I have to say, you can't beat the pineapples from the US of A,
the fresh,
Hawaiian
pineapples.

So here are some photos to tell our {pineapple} story.

Pick where you wanna go...

We took the train.

You can see all the plants that are grown in Hawaii.
Here are just a few:

This is what Pineapple looks like when it's growing:

{red ones are for decoration only}

but....ya gotta have the
FOOD!

Dole Whip....With pineapple chunks.

Dole Whip Float!
{and a souvenir}

Share with me your pineapple adventures!

  1. I just had a friend tell me about Dole Whip! She was stationed in Hawaii could have ate it everyday! It sounds like I will have to try it someday!

  2. We LOVED hawaii, and one of the best parts was the food. We've been trying to get back to Ft Lewis because it makes it so much easier to vacation in Hawaii

  3. You know they have Dole Whips at Disney World?? That's the only pineapple experience I've had. I really hope we get to go one day!

  4. Ahhh, thanks to the above poster for reminding me about Dole Whip in Disney! So yummy!! I went to the Dole Plantation in college and my memories of it are of course eating and also going through the pineapple maze. It took us forever! Looking forward to hearing more about your trip!

  5. Oh yeah, the pineapples are the best thing I've ever tasted here. Even though I live right down the street from the Dole Plantation, I've actually never gone to it other than to the gift shop... I need to go when Brandon gets back.

  6. We went to Hawaii too for 10 days and just got back! We didn't stay at the Hale Koa, too pricey for us :)
